Who will you be working with?
Queensland Hydro is a publicly owned entity, established by the Queensland Government, to design, deliver, operate, and maintain long-duration pumped hydro energy storage assets. These assets will be the cornerstone for transforming Queensland’s energy system, helping to meet the state's ambitious renewable energy targets of 70% renewables by 2032, 80% by 2035, and achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

What will you be doing?
As a Contracts Administrator, you will provide essential contract management and administration for major projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing contractual correspondence, notices, and claims for both major contracts and subcontractor arrangements.
* Formulating contracts based on estimates, budgets, and timeframes.
* Ensuring contractor compliance and providing necessary guidance.
* Leading commercial aspects within project teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
* Mitigating project risks and maximising value to Queensland Hydro.
* Supporting internal legal teams with contract-related issue resolution.
* Implementing and managing contract administration plans, systems, and procedures, including contract startup and closeout activities.
What do you need?
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
* Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant area or significant applied experience.
* At least five years of experience in a similar role.
* Tier 1 experience is a must.
* Strong knowledge of contract principles and financial management.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
* Strong stakeholder relationship skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
* Understanding of infrastructure project delivery requirements.
* Willingness to travel and respond to stakeholder requests at short notice.
