Katherine West Health Board Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently looking for a Manager Family Services. This position will be well suited to someone who has a tertiary qualification in Human Services, Health, Community Development, Management, or Communication related discipline. Established in 1998, Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory. With four major health care centres and a range of satellite centres, KWHB services an area over two times the size of Tasmania (162,000km²), helping to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most remote communities in Australia. For a copy of the Position Description please go to www.kwhb.com.au The Manager Family Services has a crucial role in ensuring meticulous compliance with family services funding agreements and ensuring effective operational governance of the family services program. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Manage the day-to-day operations of KWHB family services programs, including reporting, resourcing and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. Write and develop reports and activity work plans in line with funding agreements, ensuring strong continuity between funding agreements, KPIs and service delivery. Plan and monitor workloads of Family Services case managers to maintain a high standard of family support service delivery across the Katherine West region. Liaise with cultural leadership advisors and be guided by community input and feedback to ensure the highest standards of cultural safety are embedded into program delivery. Develop and support appropriate referral networks to respond to complex family support needs. Represent KWHB professionally in external meetings to advance program aims and outcomes and build service collaboration mechanisms.
