Site Cafe Manager - ANSTO
The Opportunity:
FHR Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Cafe Manager to join our client's team at one of their sites in Lucas Heights.

* We are in search of a highly passionate, motivated and dynamic Site Manager to manage daily operations, based in Lucas Heights, New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all elements for food, catering and function services at this site whilst exceeding the customer expectations and client requirements. The focus is on quality food, great service impeccable service quality and achieving financial targets.
About the role:
* Fulltime Hours
* Salary Based role - $75 to $80k - plus super
* The food services cafes operate 5 days a week, flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and or public Holidays may be required
* Reporting to the General Manager Regional

Duties:
* Management and operation of all facets of the catering activity for the site including a high street Café, function activity, finance, people management, culture and stakeholder relationships
* Create a Cafe that is appealing to a broad range of customers with a focus on great coffee and customer engagement through excellent merchandising
* Design, deliver catering and operational initiatives that continually improve service and revenue
* Monitor food and labour costs in relation to revenue
* Maintain high levels of communication between the site and the company, including all reporting processes as documented in the Catering Contract
* Lead innovation and promotional schedules to drive revenue and customer engagement
* Engagement of all internal and external stakeholders - staff, contractors, suppliers to ensure all catering operations are delivered to requirements
* Office administration and support, as required and ensuring all company standards are consistently met
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
* Significant café and catering experience within a high-volume environment
* NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - essential
* Food Handlers Certificate - essential
* Food Safety Supervisors Certificate - desirable
* Financial acumen regarding forecasting and managing all facets of the catering operation within a café and function activity
* Time management and ability to prioritise tasks
* Strong communication, negotiating and relationship skills
* Business development experience and hunger for success
* Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
* Barista certification / solid skills (mandatory or willing to acquire)
Qualification requirements:
* Allergens Certificates
* Responsible service of Alcohol certificates
* Food Safety Certificates
* First Aid Certifcate
