One of our clients The Surveyor General Inn, based in Berrima, NSW are looking for skilled and experienced Chef-de-Partie. They have two vacancies for same role. These are full-time positions for right applicants.
Education:
Qualified chef or Cert IV in commercial cookery
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in same role – Modern Australian cuisine.
Duties:
• Preparing, seasoning and cooking food.
• Helping Head Chef on –Planning and development of menu.
• Helping Head chef on- costing of food and labor.
• Ordering, receiving and storing properly.
• Fortnightly Stock Control.
• Supervising preparation and service of the food.
• Controlling the quality of the preparation to service of food.
• Train new / junior chef regarding kitchen operation and food preparation.
• Implementing and monitoring workplace health, safety and hygiene Regulations.
Salary - $82,500 plus super
