Working alongside our Digital Marketing Manager, your primary role will be the creation of weekly video content for the Scorptec website, social media pages and advertising, product photography of Scorptec gaming systems, workstations and various other product lines, as well as supporting the marketing team with other activities as required including email marketing, graphic design, attending industry events/expos and more.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to produce regular, high-quality video content that meets business objectives while maintaining consistency with the Scorptec brand.
* Coordinate a film schedule, write scripts and create storyboards.
* Operate video and photography equipment in both studio and on-location settings.
* Be willing to appear on camera when necessary.
* Edit video, including assembly, grading, title cards, effects, compositing, captions and more.
* Prepare content for publishing to various media locations, including the Scorptec website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, digital retail signage and more.
Photography
* Take photographs of Scorptec Ready-to-Run Gaming PCs and Workstations.
* Edit, composite and export images for use on our website, socials and more.
Graphic Design
* Create graphic content for videos, social media, email, print and banners, including infographics, titles, end cards, advertisements and more.
Email Marketing
* Assist in the production of email marketing campaigns, including the creation of graphics for emails.
* Assist in proofreading weekly email marketing content.
* Report on campaign performance.
Events and Expos
* Assist in planning and attending expos and industry events such as PAX, Intel Extreme Masters, DreamHack etc.
* Produce video and photo content both at and around these events.
Required Experience and Skills:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a video production role, preferably within the tech or gaming industry.
* Extensive practical experience with all aspects of video production (pre and post) including storyboarding, script writing, set dressing, lighting, videography, editing, mastering, special effects, colour grading, captions, animations, voiceovers, thumbnail design, etc.
* Experience operating imaging equipment, including cameras, lenses, sliders, lighting, etc.
* Proficiency in graphic design, photo editing, and compositing.
* Familiarity with Adobe Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator.
* Able to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly to both creative and non-creative audiences.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
* Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
* Familiarity with gaming, tech and online culture.
* Pride in your work, with a drive to upskill and improve.
Advantageous but not required:
* Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
* Qualifications in business, marketing, advertising, or film.
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 excluding superannuation.
