A unique family-owned home builder in the Sydney area is seeking an experienced Payroll/Accounts Officer to join their team in Gregory Hills.
About the Role
This role offers job security with a successful Australian-owned company. Reporting to the general manager, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing and managing payroll for up to 40 employees.
* Processing and submitting invoices into MYOB.
* Generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
* Using MYOB to check tax and Superannuation updates.
* Manage reconciliations, commissions, and worker's compensation installments.
* Updating and managing the internal database.
* Building relationships with key stakeholders.
* General Administration tasks, including answering phones and managing email inquiries.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role for at least three years.
* Experience in the building industry is preferred.
* Confident user of MYOB, Microsoft suites, including Excel and Outlook.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Strong attention to detail.
