About the Role:
Our Finance team are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer (Non-Stock) to join our team. This role reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and will involve receiving and processing all invoices and credit notes.
The responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring all invoices are coded and approved in line with the current procedures.
* Managing internal and external relationships to ensure all discrepancies are investigated in a timely manner.
* Creditor maintenance and monthly statement reconciliations.
* New supplier onboarding and validation checks.
* Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities.
* Assist with ad-hoc requests from the wider finance team.
To be successful you will ideally have the following:
* Proven experience in a high-volume account processing position.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* Preferred, but not essential – Experience with AP21.
* A high attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Exceptional organizational and priority-setting skills to be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* This role requires attention to detail and a “hands-on approach.”
* Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
