The Opportunity: Our client, a progressive and expanding mid-sized law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney, is seeking a Principal – Commercial Law to lead and grow their practice. Duties: Lead & expand a profitable commercial law practice, bringing an existing client base of approximately $500K. Mentor & manage a small team of junior lawyers, fostering growth and development. Provide strategic legal advice on complex commercial transactions & disputes. Work with high-profile clients across industries such as FMCG, Manufacturing, Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Technology, Government, and Start-ups. Play a pivotal role in business development and the firm’s ongoing expansion. About You: 10 years’ PAE in Commercial Law, with strong transactional and advisory experience. A proven client base of approximately $500K. A collaborative leadership style, with experience mentoring junior lawyers.
