About the role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing
2. Specimen storage and retrieval
3. Equipment maintenance and operation
4. Maintenance of records
5. Assist with stock control
6. Maintain confidentiality of customer
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
7. A Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent
8. Previous laboratory experience, preferably in diagnostic testing, is desirable
9. A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
10. Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
11. Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
12. Attention to detail
13. Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures
14. Previous Pathology Laboratory experience is desirable, but not essential
