About the role:
We are seeking a talented Relief Teacher to work at various schools within and around Wallan. Our system will match your skills, preferences, and availability to the schools we work with, ensuring you enjoy the shifts we offer.
Key duties:
* Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement.
* Ensure continuity of learning for students in the absence of their usual teacher.
* Craft a motivating learning environment by adopting diverse styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs.
* Sometimes, supervise students in the playground, if deemed necessary.
Requirements:
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification and maintain a current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
* Be prepared to provide contact details for two senior education-based references from within the last 5 years (student teacher mentors are acceptable).
Desired skills:
* Demonstrate adaptability in changing work environments.
