WOLLONGONG LOCATION MIX OF OFFICE BASED & WFH BANKING & FINANCE – CURRENT PROJECT FOCUS ON FRAUD & FINANCIAL CRIMES Located in Wollongong is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PMO Business Analyst looking to join a great team.
The Role As part of the PMO team some of your key accountabilities will include:
Analysing and documenting requirements and processes.
Management in the development of project concepts and business cases to support strategic delivery.
Documentation and analysis of assigned information and requirement tasks.
Assisting subject matter experts and project teams in quantifying and documenting the impacts of change to the business.
Assisting project teams with designing business solutions that factor in regulatory and compliance requirements.
Preparing required documentation and artefacts for project team members to review.
Developing current and future state process maps, supporting progression to the desired state.
Working with stakeholders identifying opportunities to digitise business analysis activities.
Seeking to consistently improve ways of delivering service to customer satisfaction.
Contributing to team activities, provide input into PMO goals and objectives.
Working collaboratively with all areas of the business to achieve outcomes.
The Candidate To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary level qualifications (e.g.
Technology, Business Process, Software Development, Project Management) with appropriate skills related to complex financial analysis.
Relevant experience in a similar role where you have worked on multiple projects, delivering insights & analysis while working with internal stakeholders – you love looking at data and working out the how's and why's of it all.
You also enjoy working with processes & leveraging current technology to provide insights into how to uplift a customer experience (exposure to fraud & financial crimes projects would be brilliant but not essential).
The ability to present to stakeholder groups – you enjoy presenting and can communicate your findings in a way that is easily understood by those who might not have an analytical background.
A solid understanding of various tool, techniques and framework eg: agile requirements management, design thinking, lean process review and design.
The kind of personality that has exceptional interpersonal, communication and literacy skills along with the ability to solve complex problems.
You confidently work to deadlines & don't hesitate to seek clarification to ensure you effectively prioritise the work.
This is an excellent role perfectly suited to candidates who come from a banking or financial services business analyst background that has been fairly hands on.
