Open to new graduatesFlexible working arrangementsOngoing mentoring and supportJob Title: Podiatrist - New or Experienced - Boyne Island, Queensland.Job Type: Permanent - Full-time OR Part-time will be considered.Practice Information:This podiatry clinic is a private clinic in beautiful Boyne Island.You will find an interesting and varied caseload with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in all areas.Their locally owned and operated clinic opened at the beginning of 2018 and currently employs three Podiatrists.They operate in a modern clinic supported by in-store footwear sales and 3D orthotic scanning and utilise close referral ties to our local Physios and GPs.They offer a full scope of Podiatry services including custom supra malleolar devices, nail surgery, DVA/NDIS/GPMP, doppler ABI/TBI, video gait assessment and 3D scanning for orthotic prescription.As a result of their location (and a high proportion of young families in the area) and a large sporting community, we see a good volume of paediatric patients.The clinic is open Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm.About Boyne Island:Boyne Island is a twin towns locality with Tannum Sands and sits at the end of the Great Barrier Reef.25min drive to Gladstone and 6.5hrs to Brisbane.Daily flights from Gladstone to Brisbane.The area offers plenty of sporting and outdoor recreation opportunities.Position Description:They are looking for a full-time Podiatrist preferred, but part-time considered.Start date of January 2025 preferred but earlier start can be negotiated.Full reception support and a paid 30-minute paperwork break is provided every day.Flexible working arrangements are available (and encouraged).Experience in all areas of Podiatry is preferred but they are happy to train and mentor the right applicant.The successful candidate must have the ability to work within a team environment but also autonomously.Graduates are welcome to apply and would be gradually transitioned into their case load with ongoing mentoring and support.The successful candidate will have access to and mentoring by all staff, along with regular in-house CPD.We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality, patient-focused treatment and we support our Podiatrists to continue to develop their skills as clinicians.Applications close November 30th, 2024.Qualifications and Experience:Applicants must hold: Bachelor Health Science (Podiatry) or equivalentRegistered with AHPRAIndustry registrations, insurances, have a valid driver's licenseSalary Information:Remuneration packages between $80,000 to $100,000 per annum.For more information on this position, please contact our team via .Please apply via the 'Apply Now' button on this page.Following successful placement, eligible candidates may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives.This position may be eligible for a scholarship or bursary for ongoing professional development.
