Title: Business Support & Finance Administrator Reports to: Commercial & Business Support Manager / Finance Manager Deputy: N/A About us: HTSL Group is a growing business that supports the UK's radiation safety and non-destructive testing markets. Purpose: The Business Support & Finance Administrator is responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and accurate support to the HTSL Calibration Laboratory in Deeside, ensuring strict adherence to HTSL procedures and policies. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and submit purchase orders to ensure timely procurement. Oversee purchase ledger and sales ledger tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Conduct credit checks for new suppliers and customers to assess risk and ensure compliance. Manage the returns process for equipment sent to manufacturers for repair, providing regular updates to customers. Maintain professional communication with customers, suppliers, and internal staff at all levels. Perform general tasks as directed by the Commercial & Business Support Manager and/or Finance Manager. Proactively follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to expedite outstanding parts and services. Key Skills & Competencies: Ability to demonstrate accuracy and organisational skills in all work activities. Proficient in using SAGE or similar financial management systems. Strong attention to detail, especially in completing analytical tasks. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Highly organized with effective time management skills. Self-motivated, able to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Access, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with working within a Calibration and/or Servicing Industry is desirable. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience of working within an Office Environment. Minimum NVQ Business Administration Level 3 (or similar). AAT level 2 (or similar) is desirable. UK driving license.
