We bring brands to life! The opportunity The Designer is responsible for Design and Production Development of accountable brands, licenses and product categories. Support Design Manager and Account Managers to ensure we meet desired outcomes for customers. To achieve this, you: Design & Development of seasonal or monthly ranges Sketch garment shapes Select suitable garment fabrications Trend and seasonal forecasting Create production/tech packs for each style designed Prepare costing art-sheets to include technical drawings, trim details and construction specifications Prepare and document fabric quality and print swatches Monitor product submissions including fit samples, quality swatches, lab dips, prints, trims, accessories, and fabric qualities within required production time allocated for the approval process and advise Maintain and update files to customer requirements Coordinate sourcing of fabrics and trims related to product designed Liaise with factories and internal parties regarding problem solving and design approvals, ensuring your product meets your desired final outcome. Liaise with QA techs on fit and styling throughout production process, including Fit, PP and Shipment sampling stages Design range books for buyer meetings or range presentations Ensure any samples required are delivered on time Assist Design Manager and Account Manager with meeting preparations The skills and experience you offer us 5-6 years' industry experience Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or Graphic Design, or related discipline Demonstrated working experience in a similar role within the fashion industry Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and proficient in InDesign Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Textile/garment construction/pattern making knowledge Garment manufacturing knowledge or experience Strong written and verbal communications Ability to work to tight deadlines Strong organisational skills Strong eye for product Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment Demonstrated experience in Sport Licensing Just some of the perks we offer you Generous discounts for you and your family across Brand Collective's stable of brands!
