We are innovative and forward thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services.Your RoleOur Domestic Care Workers provide essential care services to our residents in support of our Personal Care Workers. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and team contributing to the optimisation of resident choice allowing them to live their best lives. If you're interested in starting a career in care and/or are working towards your certificate III in Aged Care, this is the role for you!What You’ll DoProviding basic mobility assistance such as walking with a resident or propelling their wheelchairAssisting with the delivery of meals and removal of dishes/meal traysSupervising residents in a memory support unitStocking resident’s individual continence bagsApplying moisturizing skin creamsAssisting residents with glasses, hearing and other aidsCleaning resident rooms and laundry dutiesProviding emotional support to residents and assisting their families/visitorsAssisting residents to attend activities and do things that are of interest to themWhat you will bring:Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)Unlimited working rights in AustraliaHospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion and EmpathyAn understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)Interested?We would love to hear from you!
