Job Summary
The successful candidate will oversee project planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope. The role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson painter with proven experience in estimation and overseeing jobs who wishes to transition into a project management position.
Main Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Implementation: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
2. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables, including determining labour hours required to complete the project and resources and materials needed.
3. Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Communication: Communicate project status updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
1. Qualifications: Painter and Decorator - tradesman certificate.
2. Experience: Previous experience in commercial or residential field.
3. Skills: Solid knowledge of various painting techniques and tools.
4. Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
5. Certifications: Construction white/blue card.
