What you'll be doing Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, provide safe, compassionate, holistic care in collaboration with individual/s and multidisciplinary health care providing an environment that fosters hope and recovery within the Far West Recovery Centre and mental health Inpatient units to provide continuity for step-up and step-down functions for people with a lived experience of mental illness. Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated application of evidence based holistic practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person recovery goals. Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner. Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues. Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice and its contribution to changing practice and policies within the organisation.
