The position will report to the National Manager Admissions.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver advanced administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient running of Admissions Office operations, including maintaining a strong relationship with Schools and other relevant teams.Provide accurate advice and guidance to a variety of audiences on the admissions process and ensure acknowledgement in the information.Manage the complete assessment of applications, including interpretation and evaluation, coordinate the generation of offers and ensure quality control over all communication with applicants.Contribute to the progressive review and refinement of student application and assessment, including the associated workflow and communications.Interpret and apply relevant policies, practices, and standards to organise and prioritise work, while using initiative and informed judgment to solve problems arising in the work area.Utilise enterprise systems to ensure the timely response to applicant enquiries, the secure and accurate recording of student data and for the preparation of reports and other relevant documentation.Assist with training and mentoring team members in application of internal software programs.Comply with all other reasonable training and duties as identified by the line manager (or delegate).Comply with University policies and procedures in all aspects of their work and conduct.Qualifications, skills & experienceA Degree qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Demonstrated experience in student admissions, preferably in a University environment.Ability to deliver an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions with current and prospective students and all internal and external university partners to provide an exceptional student experience.Proficient in acting with discretion and sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work to achieve successful outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communications skills with evidence of producing clear and concise written communications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong computer literacy and advanced user knowledge in Outlook, Microsoft Office, video-conferencing applications and proficient in the use of enterprise systems.Demonstrated self-motivation and flexibility in responding to changing work priorities, with the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.Ability to exercise independent judgement and initiative to constructively solve problems and make effective decisions based on knowledge of policy and procedures, relevant events and strategic priorities.Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.BenefitsGenerous training and development opportunities.Friendly and collaborative working environment.Discounted study at the University.How to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
