We are seeking an experienced and passionate nurse to join our friendly and committed team in the Neuroscience department at Epworth Richmond. This role will provide the opportunity to work with a team focused on achieving quality outcomes and person-centred care for the neurological and neurosurgical patient. The successful applicant will have access to professional development and education programs, including our Introduction to Specialty Practice program, and a Post Graduate program run in partnership with Australian Catholic University.
This position requires the successful applicant to work across all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
You will make an impact by:
Providing high-quality nursing care and experience to patients
Utilising a reflective, critical thinking, and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
Using relevant and relatable acute experience
Working collaboratively with fellow members of the multidisciplinary team
To be successful in this role:
You are a patient-centred nurse with an interest in neurosciences. You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service. In addition to this, you are a critical thinker and keep up-to-date with best practices in nursing care. You are safety-conscious and are not shy in speaking up for safety.
You will have:
Current nursing registration with AHPRA
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-registration
A high standard of clinical and service excellence
Great communication, time management, and excellent customer service skills
A special interest in neuroscience nursing
