Emergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities delivered through Emergency Management Victoria, Emergency Recovery Victoria, Sector Performance and Reform and emergency management statutory entities and offices. The work of the group supports the emergency management sector to work together and to strengthen the capacity of individuals, communities, government, agencies and business to achieve our shared vision of safer and more resilient communities and to rebuild and recover after an emergency. Emergency Management Technology and Data is responsible for both national and state technology platforms that enable communications to and from the community, sector operational communications and sector information systems. The EM Technology business unit is responsible for delivering the following key functions: Strategy & Enterprise Architecture; Investment Planning; Support & Development; Procurement & Program Delivery; Vendor & Contract Management What will the role do? The Emergency Alert Site Lease Officer will support our leasing arrangements as part of the EAS contract signed and approved by the Minister on 30 June 2023. Some key duties include: Manage the daily operation of all EAS site lease financial register including the invoicing process, budget and payments Develop reports and provide advice on any anomalies associated with the site lease payments Support the management of the site lease register with 231 sites and 254 site lease documents to ensure accurate payments. As our ideal candidate, you will have: Experience in managing complex contracts Strong vendor management and stakeholder management experience Accounts payable experience Information management and data management A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lease agreement management or a related field, demonstrating a strong sense of business acumen. Effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, enabling you to collaborate successfully with site owners and other stakeholders.
