2x Temporary, Full-time roles up to 30 June 2026 Based in Lismore or Sydney with fantastic hybrid work arrangement options Clerk Grade 9/10 ($125,693 - $138,510) plus super and annual leave loading About the role The role supports the development and implementation of the Authority's data management and analysis activities within the Resilient Homes Program. You will be responsible for delivering data insights and reports. You will provide advice and solutions on data management with a strong focus on continuous improvement and enhanced outcomes. Being a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our services you must be able to demonstrate deep focus skills, stakeholder management/client facing capability and strong levels of patience and perseverance.
Design frameworks and methods to assess multi-hazard natural disaster risk direct and indirect impacts. This includes transforming data from disparate sources to create hazard, exposure and risk metrics to inform disaster risk assessment and reduction decision making.
Design and manage data quality and integrity activities that involve developing innovative solutions to capture, visualise and present digestible information.
Analyse probabilistic, spatial and non-spatial data to generate insights to identify trends, patterns and drivers of risk to improve the Authority's understanding of multi-hazard risk in NSW.
Collaborate with stakeholders to fully understand their varying needs and ensure timely and quality delivery of milestones.
What we are looking for You will be joining a delivery-focused team and will bring strong understanding of data modelling, analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Advanced skills in SQL and Power BI Experience in Databricks and Snowflake SmartyGrants and Salesforce experience will be strongly regarded. About the Agency The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
