Two private practices in Narrabri are seeking the services of 2 enthusiastic General Practitioners with procedural skills in Anaesthesia or Obstetrics and Gynaecology. We are looking for someone who wants to make a long term commitment to Narrabri and its surrounding communities. Namoi Medical Services is a new Practice servicing the community needs of Narrabri. Namoi Medical Services has three General Practitioners – including 2 GP Obstetricians and a GP Anaesthetist, ably assisted by a dedicate Practice Manager, 3 reception staff, and a registered nurse. The Practice has been purpose built with 4 consultation rooms and 1 treatment room. Additional services located within the Centre include Laverty Pathology and allied health providers. The Practice is AGPAL accredited. Namoi Medical Services is dedicated to training and participates in Registrar training. Operating Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.30pm; Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm. Roster details – on call component: Oncall VMO roster provided by Narrabri Hospital. Bridge Street Medical Centre - Bridge Street Medical Centre is operated by local wife and husband team Dr Dilini and Dr Rohana are the Principals of the practice, and are well known members of the Narrabri community. They lead a team of dedicated and caring doctors, clinic nurses and administration staff. Bridge Medical Centre offers services such as employment medicals, skin checks and skin cancer excisions, laser therapy, chronic disease management and minor surgical procedures, in modern facilities and utilizing state of the art equipment. Dr Rohana has worked as a Procedural GP in Narrabri since 2016, is a is passionate about the provision of quality rural health care, and enjoys his role as a supervisor to General Practice Training registrars, International Medical Graduates (IMG) and as a supervisor in the Remote Vocational Training Scheme for GP registrars and medical students. About Narrabri Hospital The thirty eight bed hospital was underwent redevelopment in 2011, opening in February 2012 to provide services in surgical, emergency, paediatrics, medical, maternity, OT and community health services and has a broad range of health staff including the areas of imaging and pathology. Hunter New England Local Health District works with the local general practitioners to provide comprehensive care to the community. The community health centre is collocated and offers services in Aboriginal Health, Counselling, Diet and Nutrition, Speech Pathology, OT, Physiotherapy, Diversional Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Women's Health and Aged Care.
