The department is comprised of two units, Alfred Radiation Oncology (ARO) located in the South Block at The Alfred and Gippsland Radiation Oncology (GRO), located at Latrobe Regional Hospital. Together the two units provide the full range of radiation oncology and radiation therapy services (with the exception of paediatrics) in addition to some specialized services with both state and national significance.The RoleThe Gippsland Radiation Oncology department has a vacancy for a part-time (0.5EFT) Data Manager. The successful applicant will be involved in the maintenance of departmental databases for all patients attending the department as well as assisting in related research projects.Competence in computer systems, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently is required. Previous experience in a health care and/or medical research environment would be highly regarded and previous oncology experience would be an advantage.
