Responsibilities assumed by the first line include assessment, governance, reporting and regulatory interactions in respect of technology risks. In this role, you will support technology domains in identifying, designing, and assessing controls and maintaining advanced risk management reporting to protect shareholders, customers and bankers. You deeply understand technology risk and information security processes, concepts, and industry standards to and can translate it to the ANZ context.Role Type: Permanent, Full timeRole Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VICWhat will your day look like?As an Assurance Analyst, you will:Work directly with Technology business units to provide assurance of risks, controls, treatments, events, operational / delivered risk assessments and audit items.Deliver risk assessments and drive risk profile reviews for the Technology division.Provide SME knowledge about Technology risks and controls to key business stakeholders.Lead the identification and evaluation of compliance and operational risk management.Contribute to the delivery of insights, trends and recommendations in relation to how risks are being identified, assessed and treated.Provide your risk knowledge to support teams in embedding the ANZ Risk Framework.Take on risk / compliance related initiatives and drive them to completion.Use your strong communication and presentation skills to connect with stakeholders across Group Technology.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Solid experience working in risk, assurance, audit, or compliance in a Technology environment, preferably in a large organisation.A Bachelor degree qualification in Information Technology or related field (qualifications in other fields will be considered).Professional accreditations such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP will be considered favourably.An understanding of technology operational risks, such as ALM, resilience, security, vendor management.An understanding of risk principals and frameworks, preferably those used as industry best practice.Excellent communication and presentation skills.An understanding of the regulatory environment and potential impacts.Ability to build strong and influential relationships across business and technology areas.Good knowledge of Operational Risk Frameworks, Regulatory Requirements, Delivery Standards and Controls Framework, Technology Industry Standards.A growth mindset - highly motivated by continuous improvement and seeking new ways to align processes, systems and culture to uplift and accelerate performance.Curiosity - continuously seeking to understand industry trends and best practices that our people can use to manage risk actively and effectively within Technology.You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
