We manage the University's financial obligations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, and insurance.About the OpportunityThe Procurement Analyst will play a key role in supporting the procurement function at UOW by analysing data, identifying cost saving opportunities and maintaining the procurement contract register.We are seeking a skilled individual who possesses high level interpersonal and communication skills to ensure strategic, well-informed purchasing decisions that align with the University's goals.Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Analyse procurement data for cost optimisation and process improvements.Manage and maintain the central procurement contract register.Review procurement contracts for clarity, consistency, and policy alignment.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain reporting systems.Present reports on contract status and performance metrics to management.Stay updated with industry trends and implement improvements in data analytics.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a high-level aptitude for analysing, interpreting and reporting on data, and:Experience in managing multiple tasks of varying complexity whilst applying sound initiative and judgement.Experience with data analytic tools.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Employment will be subject to a National Criminal History Check.How to ApplyApplicants are required to attach an up-to-date CV and a cover letter (max 3 pages) detailing how you meet the requirements of this role.
