Job Title Senior Consultant- Aged care Division/Business Unit/Team Consulting Reporting to: Managing Director Location: South Melbourne, Australia (Onsite) Salary AUD 110k-130k base super 5% commission flat (for any new business that will be brought in) POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Consultant—aged Care is responsible for driving business development and delivering high-quality consulting services within the aged care sector. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience managing or running medium—to large-sized aged care businesses. The ideal candidate will work independently to cultivate long-term client relationships while strategically enhancing the department’s growth and service offerings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aged care sector, focusing on expanding the client base and enhancing market presence. ● Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through tailored consulting services. ● Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective business strategies that align with their operational goals and challenges. ● Project Delivery: Oversee the execution of consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet or exceed client expectations. ● Operational Insight: Provide clients with a comprehensive understanding of aged care business operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions. ● Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices, providing clients with relevant insights to help them stay competitive. ● Department Growth: Lead initiatives to grow the aged care consulting department, mentoring junior team members and identifying opportunities for service enhancement ROLE REQUIREMENTS Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or running medium to large-sized aged care businesses, with a proven track record in the sector. Business Acumen: Strong business development and client relationship management ability, with a strategic approach to fostering growth. - Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders effectively. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business operations and provide effective recommendations. - Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the department.
