Location: Greater Western Sydney (regional travel required bimonthly)Contract Duration: Immediate start for up to 3 months (with potential for an extension + opportunity for a permanent role at the end)Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of 15 assets across multiple states in Australia (NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA). This role will involve a blend of national responsibilities, with a focus on facilities management for 2 NSW sites.The successful candidate will spend 50% of their time dedicated to the facilities management of the Greater Western Sydney asset and Regional asset and the remaining 50% managing the national portfolio. Regional travel will be required every 4-6 weeks, and all travel-related expenses (including kilometers) will be reimbursed.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the facilities management of 15 assets across NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA, ensuring operational efficiency, maintenance, and compliance with relevant regulations.Direct responsibility for the management of 2 NSW sites, focusing on day-to-day operations and maintenance.Collaborate with state and regional teams to implement strategies for effective facilities management.Monitor and manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and maintenance schedules.Ensure the safety, security, and operational readiness of all facilities under your management.Prepare and manage budgets for facilities management operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.Respond to facilities-related emergencies and provide proactive solutions.Desirable Skills & Experience:Experience managing a diverse portfolio of facilities, preferably with experience across multiple states or regions.Strong background in facilities management and operational leadership.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks effectively.Additional Information:This is a Sydney-based role, requiring on-site presence.
