Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Highfields, Queensland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective assessment/therapy services to a range of clients. This role requires the ability to build professional relationships with clients, families, and professionals while providing individualized one-on-one sessions in clinic or home environments.Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized therapy plans- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and professionals- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions based on individual goals in clinic or home settings- Conduct group programs tailored to clients of various ages- Prepare written materials such as reports and letters that comply with company policies- Communicate confidently with clients and general practitioners in a professional manner- Obtain a valid driver's license for timely travel between locations to provide quality service- Work independently while ensuring adherence to company standardsSkills Necessary:- Proficiency in conducting efficient assessments/therapy services for diverse clientele - Strong ability to establish and maintain professional relationships - Experience providing one-on-one therapy sessions in clinical or home environments - Ability to work independently without direct supervision - Skillful at assessing client progress over time - Comfortable working both individually with clients as well as leading group sessions - Excellent communication skills when reporting information to other healthcare professionals - Knowledgeable about health education principles Qualifications: -Accreditation through AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) -Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy -Knowledge/experience working with ASD clients and other disabilities -CPR and current first aid certification -Blue card (working with children check)
