Trinity Petroleum Services is a locally operated company with distribution outlets in Cairns and Townsville seeking an experienced General Manager – Sales and Operations who will represent the business in the community building strong relationships with key external parties.
Reporting to the company's CEO, the role requires strategic vision, strong leadership and a commitment to driving results. The candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading and providing direction to senior managers and a cross-functional sales and operations team with excellent problem solving, communication, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
We are looking for an influential leader to manage and support our wholesale, distribution and operations teams to engage, retain and service our existing customer base along with a renewed focus of driving sales growth to maximise business profitability. Your capability and passion to grow relationships and drive the delivery of this service must be clearly demonstrated through your experience in previous similar roles.
Direct reports include the Depot and Fleet Manager (Cairns), Sales and Operations Manager (Townsville) and our Regional Sales Executive. Experience managing operations and employees in the fuel, or a similar industry will be highly regarded. You will drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your ability to motivate and mentor your team to excel in their roles should be supported by examples of your effectiveness in a similar previous position.
Based in our Cairns Head Office you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our depots and related functions, ensuring that all trucking, storage, and depot operations comply with regulatory, legislative and company standards.
