GENERAL PRACTITIONER REQUIRED (INCREASED PATIENT DEMAND)
Full-time permanent opportunity for a qualified and experienced VR GP in a mixed billed clinic (20 years established clinic).
Population Size: 150,000
High remuneration of gross billings, dependent on your experience and hunger to succeed.

This Medical Centre is a well-established local mixed billed medical center located in Wodonga, VIC 3690. Our GP doctors are highly trained with people skills and expert clinical knowledge to provide the best healthcare services to our clients.
Qualifications and requirements of the position:
The General Practitioner is required to be appropriately qualified, trained, and experienced in the discipline of general practice, and assessed as competent for the position in Victoria. The General Practitioner must abide by all legislative acts governing medical practice in Victoria.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, primary health care services to the community, in keeping with best-practice standards.
* Examine and identify patients and evaluate clinical problems.
* Document the patient’s progress in the patient record using state of the art software.
* Respond to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
* Provide after-hours, on-call, and other services as rostered if applicable.
* Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to all patients attending the practice.
* Order diagnostic tests as required.
* Refer patients to other providers as appropriate.
* Be familiar with assessment and management of medical emergencies and common conditions presented in the Australian General Practice setting.
* Have the ability to read ECG, CT Scans, and X-rays and skills of annulation, intubation, catheterization, and fluid management.
Work hours: Full time (38 hours a week or more if you are hungry).
Selection criteria:
* At least 1 year of work experience as a General Practitioner or equivalent.
* Relevant and Australian recognized medical degree.
* Current and appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Applied knowledge, skills, and experience as appropriate for the position.
* Satisfactory participation in quality improvement and continuing professional development to at least the same standards as the Royal Australian College of General Practice’s (RACGP) Quality Assurance and Continuing Professional Development (QA & CPD) Program.
