HR Advisers in this branch play a key role in supporting the HR function and provide guidance and coaching to staff and managers across AMSA. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment you will be instrumental in delivering innovative and practical people solutions that support a positive employee experience and ensure AMSA is on track to deliver against Strategy 2030.There are two HR Adviser roles available, and we are also looking to establish a merit list to fill future vacancies in our HR team.HR Advisor – Workforce StrategyYou will work with a small team of HR professionals to:Lead, plan, deliver and evaluate identified initiatives in the Strategic Workforce Plan and Diversity and Inclusion Plan which support the effective delivery of AMSA’s strategic objectives.Develop strong, strategic business partnerships with the Senior Leadership Group to identify current and future workforce priorities and capability needs.Analyse a range of workforce data to identify emerging trends, risks and business needs.Lead delivery of regular employee surveys, including analysis and communication of results, and develop strategic action plans in partnership with business leaders.Manage and continuously improve AMSA’s Learning and Development systems, products and frameworks.Commit to the AMSA Code of Conduct and Values.HR Advisor – HR Business PartnerYou will work with a small team of HR professionals to:Partner with leaders across AMSA to build strong relationships and develop people-focused solutions across the employee life cycle based on risks and opportunities.Support and coach leaders in identifying people impacts of organisational change to facilitate the implementation of divisional change initiatives.Provide insightful analysis of HR data and industry trends to identify workforce risks and opportunities and translate them into action.Lead, plan, deliver and evaluate identified initiatives in the Strategic Workforce Plan which support the effective delivery of AMSA’s strategic objectives.Act as a trusted advisor and conduit between People and Property and senior leaders, supporting the consultation, validation and promotion of key People and Property projects.Contribute to branch leadership – plan and manage work priorities, build capability and foster a culture of innovation and respect.Commit to the AMSA Code of Conduct and Values.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo be successful in this position, you will be:An experienced HR professional. It’s not essential that you have deep expertise across all facets of HR, but you will have demonstrated experience delivering a variety of projects and initiatives relevant to the role responsibilities. This may include workforce strategy and planning, diversity and inclusion, organisational design, capability development, staff engagement, workforce analytics, and recruitment.A team player. You have proven ability to build capability through peer mentoring and coaching, sharing knowledge and working as a team to deliver on shared priorities.A collaborator. You actively build partnerships across the business to understand their needs and translate business and organisational priorities into action.A critical thinker and problem solver. You have demonstrated ability to solve complex workforce problems, using data and evidence to identify workforce risks and opportunities and design innovative solutions that have real and measurable impact.Adaptable and responsive to change.
