Your Role
As a key member of the WH&S team, you'll work closely with your site manager and develop systems for improving the overall WHS function for the DC. On a daily basis, your duties will include:
Building close relationships with all staff including Warehousing, Stores, Transport, Operations and Clerical Coordinating the development and implementation of WHS policies and procedures for all drivers, picker/packers, Leading Hands and Sub-Contractors Conducting regular Safety Inspections, Risk Assessments and Audits to identify and address potential hazards Investigating incidents and preparing detailed reports accordingly, triaging each case Supporting the site manager in influencing executive decisions in relation to systems that should be implemented to continue providing the right reports and maintain and provide instantaneous data on Health & Safety resources for the organisation Ensuring a deep level of understanding of industry standards and expectations for Health & Safety of people in Warehousing, Trucking or Logistics, so as to ensure best practice accordingly Proactively engage in Senior Leaderships' passionate vision to keep people, families and the environment cared for and serviced Administering data and reports, and facilitating necessary Government, Compliance and Industry Documentation accurately at all times Other Details

About You You have at least 5 years' of experience in WHS from a Warehousing or Logistics environment You have relevant formal training or certificates in OHS or similar You understand Driver & Warehousing Personnel legislation and can lead from the front in terms of compliance You have a deep-seeded passion for keeping people and families safe You have a solid understanding of, and demonstrated results in, delivering Policies & Procedures in a Work Health & Safety Department You are an excellent communicator, confident and willing to work with all levels of personnel from Casuals through to Executive You will have excellent MS 365 and Intermediate to Advanced IT Skills What to do now
