Job Description Lead the team to deliver complex projects and work with the local Super Government sector within the Sydney Cost Management team. Complete key cost management reports in a timely manner as dictated by the Project Manager. Communicate any potential risks or opportunities with the Client on specific projects. Manage Client expectations through excellent communication. Always maintain the highest standards of Governance and Quality Assurance. Contribute to the overall improvement of service offering for the Government Super Sector through strong knowledge of the local market, established connections that can be leveraged to create new leads and market credibility to upscale the level of market awareness of our CM services. Apply commercial acumen to projects and support the client through the decision-making process to deliver a project that not only provides value for money but also delivers a sound commercial outcome. Apply strong commission management and administer T&T contracts with a high degree of rigour and due diligence. Take lead on the projects assigned to them, work independently, take responsibility for deliverables and deliver services to a high standard. Manage a team of 3-4 (cost managers, graduates, and cadets) including commissions delivery, performance reviews, training and utilisation tracking. Manage projects profitability, invoicing, and commercial performance. Integrate with full cost management team in NSW and ACT and provide support when required. Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables. Enhance our benchmarking/Hive capabilities (digital). Playing an active role in the sector, supporting education lead with sector reports and deliverables. Qualifications Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar. Sound experience in cost planning in Education and Healthcare government projects (Client specific experience is a must). 7+ Years of experience in cost management roles with emphasis on consultancy roles. Has managed clients, contractors, and consultants directly in previous roles. Preferable RICS and/or AIQS accredited. Cost X experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
