About the Role:
We are seeking an Education Data Specialist to join our team of professionals in the Education Design, Quality and Standards Directorate. In this evolving role, you will undertake the deployment of student experience surveys, shaping decision-making by delivering timely and accurate data insights, advancing learning analytics with AI integration, and developing impactful tools for data visualisation and reporting.
By championing data accuracy and enhancing consistency in education data, you will drive meaningful improvements across the University. Collaborating with Educational Designers, course and subject coordinators, and academic staff, you will foster a culture of data literacy and quality improvement that enhances both the student experience and education delivery at JCU.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a professional with a bachelor's degree (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded), ideally with experience in the higher education sector. Your technical expertise in data management, analysis, and visualisation platforms will be essential, as will your knowledge of, or ability to develop an in-depth understanding of higher education policies, legislation and trends.
