If so, an opportunity has become available to join our Parking Compliance team, rostered between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.
Regular weekend overtime is a requirement of this role.
The successful candidate will require a good level of fitness as many patrols are conducted on foot.
You may be required to undertake practical testing and a functional capacity assessment (physical).
About the Role
The Parking Compliance Team is based at the Dandenong Civic Centre; however, the role covers the entire municipality.
The key responsibilities of the Parking Compliance team include:
* Enforcing parking restrictions under the Road Safety Act & Regulations
* Responding to and investigating reports of illegal parking
* Educating the community on parking related matters
Previous experience in a customer service role and a good knowledge of Part 12 of the Victorian Road Rules will be an advantage but is not essential.
