Position Title:
Desktop Support Technician
Position Description:
This is an onsite role providing second-level end user IT support and problem resolution at our Client's site in Wendouree (Ballarat) for 3 days a week. You will occasionally need to provide remote support to other locations, in the event that each site’s primary lead is on leave.
Key Responsibilities:
* Desktop PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
* Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment.
* Facilitating user training sessions.
* General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site.
* Assisting with project work.
* Occasional participation in afterhours/weekend support & deployment activities as required.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will be qualified in an IT related discipline and have experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10 operating systems, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and have a basic understanding of networking.
Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role.
Additional Requirements:
A driver’s license is a must for this position, as you may occasionally be required to attend other sites.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance are critical.
