Our client, boasting an impressive footprint and reputation cultivated over half a century in operation, is seeking an Architectural Specifications Manager (ASM) to be responsible for building customer relationships, deliver impactful CPD’s and write technical specifications for industrial and commercial applications. In addition, the ASM will also play an integral role in managing communication with clients, architects, engineers and the like, whilst providing best in class partnership and innovative, sustainable solutions.
Scope:
Based in Brisbane Southern suburbs you will be joining a collaborative, high performing team and will be fully supported and provided with opportunities for continuous development and growth. Focused on delivering premier projects that exceed their clients’ expectations, your key responsibilities will entail:
* Providing technical guidance, value consultation and holistic management from initial contact and throughout project lifecycle;
* Researching and identifying key decision-makers within the target market, identifying new opportunities and building market share;
* Developing and delivering compelling technical CPD presentations and in-house product demonstrations;
* Fielding specification-related enquiries;
* Conducting market research on industry trends to deliver strategic campaigns and influence stakeholders;
* Assisting in the development and improvement of technical documentation, including product specifications, installation guides, and case studies;
* Tracking and managing specification projects from initial contact through to project tender stages;
* Researching, monitoring and analysing legislation, codes of practice, regulatory and other matters to provide apt and compliant advice;
Success Profile:
* Demonstrated experience in sales or business development within the construction sector, with Facades/Windows/Louvers/Cladding/Roofing verticals namely being highly advantageous;
* Experience in lead generation and conversion with the ability to build and maintain strong pipelines;
* Ability to travel regularly and be on the road 4 days a week, in addition to attending trade events or client meetings as required;
* A proven solid foundation of sales skills; negotiation, influencing and presentation abilities;
* Possess an eagerness for personal and professional development;
* Well developed communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering to customer needs.
