ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Audit Directors, you will:Support the Directors in leading the team Audit team.Develop relationships with our clients to ensure a seamless audit process.Plan and manage the full cycle of client engagements from across a variety of industries including local government. Manage workflow and review work of junior team members.Undertake technical skill training and coaching of team.Lead and inspire the team through the ebbs and flows of the audit seasonal cycles. ABOUT YOUTo be considered for this opportunity, you will have significant experience as an External Audit Manager within Australia. Your experiences, knowledge and qualifications should include:A reputation for being an effective manage and team leader. Tertiary qualifications including being CA or CPA qualified. A high level of knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).A high level of experience and knowledge in reviewing Financial Statements.Strong time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple client engagements for your team.A passion for coaching junior auditors, and an ongoing commitment to your own development and growth. You will enjoy working within a diverse team, at a fast pace across various industries and sectors. You will also be required to travel on a regular basis throughout the busier months of August – November.
