About the Role
You will report directly to the Store Manager and have full accountability for the daily operations of our fresh produce department. Your focus will be on ensuring the store is impeccably presented, welcoming, and engaging for customers, team members, and the local community.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Direct leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining exceptional department standards, including stock monitoring, rotation routines, waste management, and quality control
* Driving a one-team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing
* Delivering outstanding customer experiences through a deep understanding of their needs and preferences
