Based in Adelaide, we are looking for a talented individual to lead the research, development, engineering, and documentation of new electromechanical products specifically designed for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Key Responsibilities: * Follow Schneider Electric's Offer Lifecycle Management and Agile methodologies for product development.
* Collaborate with the Industrial Design team to develop innovative solutions.
* Adapt engineering designs based on customer feedback.
* Use digital simulation tools for design validation.
* Manage risk with DFMEA and FTA during development.
* Ensure designs meet safety, quality, reliability, and cost standards.
* Provide ongoing engineering support throughout product lifecycles.
* Deliver high-quality 3D models, BOMs, and specifications.
* Take ownership of technical decisions and participate in peer reviews.
* Promote continuous improvement and proactively address challenges.
Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in engineering and developing mechanical or electromechanical products.
* Strong experience in engineering and designing complex plastic parts.
* Proven track record in documenting new designs, managing risk, and optimizing designs for quality, reliability, and manufacturing.
* Experience working within an Agile framework.
* Proficiency in the PTC Creo computer-aided design (CAD) tool suite.
