Roster: 8D6X FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
The Supervisor Condition Monitoring and Lubrication is responsible for overseeing and managing the condition monitoring and lubrication programs associated with the Ore Processing Facility.
This role ensures that all equipment and machinery operate efficiently and reliably through effective use of condition monitoring technologies and lubrication management best practice.
The Supervisor will lead and develop a team of technicians, providing technical support and guidance to coordinate activities, and implement strategies to prevent equipment failure and optimise performance, whilst delivering asset condition reports and escalation of identified faults, defects or threats to asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support, guidance and supervision to employees and contractors, modelling industry best practice to monitor the quality of workmanship and performance against KPI’s.
* Follow Work Management procedures and processes to ensure accurate record of resource delivery and to ensure effective strategies are in place.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance strategies to drive team engagement and efficiency.
* Review team generated notifications and provide coaching to ensure quality and accurate detailed information.
* Define performance expectations for employees and contractors and coach performance against these standards, including conducting formal performance appraisals, implementing corrective and improvement initiatives.
* Attend meetings to represent team and communicate with stakeholders to advise and provide timely escalation of equipment concerns and remedial recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2 years in a Supervisory role or leading a team, with ability to obtain Schedule 26 qualification.
* Experience in the field of Condition Monitoring or Lubrication with Fixed Plant Equipment in a Processing Plant.
* Exposure to Vibration Analysis Software and identifying fault conditions; grease and hydraulic systems.
* Relevant Trade Qualifications with an excellent knowledge of maintenance tasks and procedures.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and systems-based applications related to maintenance i.e. CMMS.
* Certification as Category II Vibration Analyst in accordance with ISO 18436-2 (desirable minimum Cat II Training).
