Jaytex Construction is currently seeking an ambitious, experienced and professional Site Foreman to join our team and help grow the South Australian branch of the Company.

Due to continued growth, project activity and our pipeline of work, we need a Site Foreman to join our current project in Kent Town, Adelaide. This position reports directly to the Site Manager, along with the Project Manager. With the current project opportunity being in Nuriootpa, candidates that reside in the north of greater Adelaide and the Barossa region are encouraged to apply.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Managing subcontractors, suppliers and Company labour
2. Conducting routine site inspections ensuring Company standards are met
3. Ensuring achievement of key milestones in relation to Time, Cost and Quality
4. Co-ordination of site labour and construction activities
5. Providing regular updates to the Site Manager
6. Manage and lead all necessary WHS processes
SELECTION CRITERIA
1. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within commercial construction
2. Thorough understanding of construction processes and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction programs
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate and resolve issues
4. Previous site supervision and team leader experience
5. Trade qualifications and experience will be highly regarded
6. Experience using Procore project management software (or similar systems).
