Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Develop detailed landscape plans and designs for residential, commercial, and consultation projects, selecting appropriate materials and plants that align with client needs and space requirements.
Install and construct hardscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, fences, pergolas, and garden furniture for both residential homes and commercial properties.
Design and implement softscape elements, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover, tailored to the specific environment of residential or commercial landscapes.
Prepare and condition soil, seedbeds, and planting sites to promote healthy growth across various project types, ensuring optimal conditions for both decorative and functional plants.
Install and maintain irrigation systems, adjusting designs to meet the unique needs of residential gardens or larger commercial properties.
Construct gravel and paved areas, such as driveways, walkways, and plazas.
Create and integrate water features (like ponds and fountains) into residential gardens, commercial spaces, or public areas.
Plant trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs in accordance with the design vision for homes, commercial spaces, or consultation projects.
Prepare and maintain lawn areas by spreading topsoil, planting grass, or laying turf.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, providing expert guidance and adjusting plans to meet functional and aesthetic needs.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualifications A minimum of one year' working experience in a similar role.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
Strong attention to detail for ensuring precision in designs and installations.
Skilled in using landscaping tools and machinery.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between: $73,000 - $80,000 p.a.
plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
