PKKP Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Community Programs Manager to develop and implement community-based programs that align with our strategic objectives.The Community Programs Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of programs and services that support the social and economic well-being of the Members of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura (PKKP) people. This role will work closely with Traditional Owners, community members, and external stakeholders to implement initiatives that enhance cultural, social, and economic outcomes.The role oversees various community development programs, including education, health and well-being, employment, and cultural initiatives. It requires strategic planning, program implementation, and ongoing evaluation to ensure alignment with the PKKP community’s vision and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead programs in education, employment, health, and cultural preservation.Build strong relationships with PKKP community members, Elders, and stakeholders.Secure and manage funding, ensuring financial accountability.Monitor program success and report on community impact.Support and lead program staff while fostering a culturally respectful work environment.Uphold workplace safety and well-being standards.About You:Significant experience in community development or program management.Strong understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols and community engagement.Experience in financial management, including budgeting and grant applications.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in remote locations and travel as needed.Experience in not-for-profits or Indigenous Corporations.Grant writing and fundraising expertise.Join us in making a meaningful impact.Contact Ione Griffiths on 91855000 for further information or Apply now!
