The Role
* Administering equipment prescriptions
* Conducting home modifications
* Implementing falls prevention measures
* Pressure care management
* Complete Daily Living (ADL) assessments
* Make recommendations for other necessary supports and services to ensure patients receive the best possible care
* Provide functional assessments using a range of tools and approaches
* Design & implement client-centred, evidence-based interventions
* Design therapy plans that are holistic, centred around a person’s aspirations and define clear outcomes
* Work proactively to adapt and maximise each person’s environment, reduce barriers, support the development of skills and identify new ways to engage clients and support them to participate and thrive
* Write comprehensive reports and maintain appropriate clinical documentation
* Maintain and update clinical skills through professional development
* Work independently, with access to resources, supervision, support, and colleagues within the service

Requirements
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board
* Current Driver’s Licence
