Telecommunications Labourer Job Description
We are seeking skilled or unskilled labourers to join our team as Telecommunication workers.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Wetherill Park, NSW. As part of this role, you will gain experience and competencies including:
* Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) (WP)
* Working safely at Heights
* Working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
* Implement traffic management plan
* Provide First Aid
* Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:
* Building, Maintaining, and Decommissioning Telecommunication Networks, including Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility
* Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
* Willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis
* Communicate/report on scheduled works changes or to Field Supervisor
* Participate of actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
* Work in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport)
