Job Summary - Baker Mix ingredients (excellent dough maker) and bake ingredients using the understanding of the ingredients to produce breads, rolls or other baked goods including baguette and brioche, sourdoughs of various. Job Summary - Pastry Cook Prepare quality pastry items such as breakfast items, desserts, cookies, cakes, pies, biscuits, displays/centrepieces and special request items. The Role As a Pastry Cook/Baker you will need to possess the following: Dough mixing, pastry mixing, laminating and sheeting of pastry Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times Inspecting quality of products throughout production process Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment and surrounding, apply with occupational health and safety regulations Ensuring wastage is minimized and budget of supplies and materials are adhered A work ethic with a focus on continual self improvement Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends Successful applicants must have the following: Relevant qualification At least 2 years of relevant experience Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired If you meet the above criteria please apply now.
