Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data architectures, models, and integration solutions that align with company standards. Champion data quality, security, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations. Advocate for the adoption of machine learning and AI technologies, supporting their integration into the business. Maintain vendor relationships and stay updated on industry trends to ensure competitive advantage. Offer technical mentoring and guidance to team members. Your Background & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll draw from significant experience in data management, architecture, and governance to guide informed and effective decisions. This will be supported by your expertise in cloud platforms, data analytics, and integration, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Additionally, experience with government or corporate ICT environments and relevant certifications is also desirable. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related field, with proven experience in data management, architecture, and governance. Expertise in enterprise applications, data lakes, warehousing, and cloud platforms like Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks. Experience with data visualisation (PowerBI), real-time analytics, IoT, and API integrations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and AI/ML technologies. Desirable experience in government/corporate ICT environments, SCADA systems, and relevant technical certifications (e.g. TOGAF).
