The Role
We have an exciting permanent full-time position available to join our Educational Delivery team in Electrotechnology at TAFE Queensland’s Ipswich Campus.
As a TAFE Teacher in Electrotechnology team, you will have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $88,547 - $118,528 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology, and the following:
18. current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
19. current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
20. evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;
21. current Queensland Driver’s licence.
Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
22. TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
23. TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or
24. TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
25. TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
26. TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
27. TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or
28. A higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
