Our Construction Industries team are looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Support Representative to join the team based in Mount Isa, Far North Queensland.
Reporting to the the primary focus of this role is to develop collaborative and trusted customer business relationships, in order to identify their key business drivers and opportunities to meet the parts and service sales targets.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Manage the overall customer satisfaction for the assigned accounts and positively influence the customer’s equipment performance, maintenance and repair costs by understanding the customers’ business
2. Deploy marketing initiatives to demonstrate value, capability and quality of business solutions to ensure the overall parts and service budget are met
3. Develop and execute a coverage plan to ensure high quality Customer relations are maintained
4. Communicate our value delivery and business initiatives through consistent and regular meetings with Key Customer influencers
5. Assist with parts supply issues focusing on quality and continuity issues
6. Identify potential market opportunities & threats for commodity growth within your territory
7. Provide parts commodity and service opportunity pipeline management to the Business for planning and forecasting.
8. Maintain accurate and up to date customer and equipment records in Hastings Deering CRM System.
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
9. Minimum five years’ experience in a customer facing position ideally within the heavy earthmoving industry
10. Demonstrated effective territory management experience with the ability to manage a large customer base
11. Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships
12. Knowledge of the Caterpillar product range would be highly desirable
13. Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering or equivalent
14. Relevant Trade Qualifications would be highly desirable
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
